**Quick answer:** To remove leaked OnlyFans content, save the link to every copy, send a DMCA notice to each site hosting it (and to its host if the site does not act), report Telegram channels to [dmca@telegram.org](mailto:dmca@telegram.org), then file a Google copyright removal request for the URLs that show your content. Copies can come back, so check again regularly. If you want this handled for you, our [OnlyFans leak removal service](/services/remove-onlyfans-leaked-content) finds copies, files the notices under our name as your agent, and checks whether the pages are gone.

## Introduction

Finding your paid OnlyFans content on a free site can cost you. Pirated copies can reduce what fans are willing to pay for, and creators commonly report losing subscribers after a leak.

You can act on a leak with a clear process. This guide walks through it: record each copy, report it to the right place, clear the search results, and watch for re-uploads. Copies can be re-uploaded to other sites, so it pays to act early.

The same steps apply on other creator platforms, and to photos and videos alike. Adult Model Protection is not a law firm and does not give legal advice; where this guide mentions the law, it links the official source.

## Step 1: Record Every Copy

Before you report anything, make a list of the copies you found:

- The exact URL of each copy (the video or image page, not the channel or profile page)
- The date you found it
- The site or platform it is on
- Which of your posts it copies

Do not screenshot, download or archive pages with sexual content. A notice needs the link and a description of your work, not a copy of the page. Keep the list up to date as you send notices and get replies.

Copyright protects original work from the moment it is created and fixed in a tangible form ([US Copyright Office](https://www.copyright.gov/what-is-copyright/)). If someone else filmed or edited the content, check who owns it before you file.

## Step 2: Send a Complete Notice to Each Site

Start with the sites where you found the most copies. A notice must identify your work and the exact URL of each copy, and include your contact details, a good-faith statement, a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner, and a signature ([US Copyright Office](https://www.copyright.gov/512/)). Our page on [how a DMCA notice works](/services/dmca-takedowns-adult-content) explains each part.

Send a complete notice first. Incomplete requests can be delayed or rejected. If there is no reply after a few days, follow up once, then use the escalation steps further down.

### Adult video sites

Large adult platforms publish their own copyright route:

- **Pornhub:** use its [online DMCA form](https://help.pornhub.com/hc/en-us/articles/4419869469459-Filing-a-DMCA-Notice-of-Copyright-Infringement) and give the exact video URLs.
- **XVideos:** its [terms of service](https://info.xvideos.com/legal/tos) ask for a copyright takedown request through its takedown form (info.xvideos.com/takedown). The terms say the uploader may receive the sender's name and contact details, and has 5 days to submit a counter-notification.
- **XNXX:** its [terms of service](https://info.xnxx.com/legal/tos) point to its copyright takedown form (info.xnxx.com/takedown).

### Social media and messengers

- **X:** use the [copyright (DMCA) form](https://help.x.com/en/forms/ipi/dmca) and link the posts directly.
- **Reddit:** use the copyright report form in Reddit's [copyright overview](https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043076292-Copyright-overview). Reddit can ban communities dedicated to infringing content after repeated removals.
- **Discord:** under Discord's [copyright and IP policy](https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/4410339349655-Discord-s-Copyright-IP-Policy), file through its DMCA form or by email to its Copyright Agent, and include [message links](https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/18924560042007-How-to-Report-the-Location-of-Materials-for-Copyright-and-Trademark-Claims) for each copy.
- **Telegram:** Telegram's [FAQ](https://telegram.org/faq) asks for copyright complaints about channels, bots, sticker sets and other content by email to [dmca@telegram.org](mailto:dmca@telegram.org). Include the channel link and the links to the specific messages. Save the links before you report, because a channel can be renamed or recreated.

### File hosts and image hosts

- **Mega:** Mega's [takedown policy](https://mega.io/takedown) says it acts on copyright takedown notices; include the specific file links.
- **Imgur:** [Imgur's help page](https://help.imgur.com/hc/en-us/articles/26480020982939) asks for a completed DMCA notice by email to its abuse address, and says not to use its image removal request form for copyright complaints.

### Sites without a clear contact

For a site that lists no copyright contact, the site's hosting provider is the next place to send the notice. Service providers that want the DMCA's safe harbor must designate an agent, and the [US Copyright Office keeps a directory](https://www.copyright.gov/dmca-directory/) of registered agents. Not every site is listed.

## Step 3: Clear the Search Results

Removing a copy from a site does not always clear it from search results straight away, and a page that is still live can keep showing up for your name. Search engines have their own routes.

![Five steps for removing leaked OnlyFans content: record the exact URL and date of every copy without screenshots, send a complete DMCA notice to each site or its host, file copyright requests with Google and Bing and refresh outdated results, escalate to the host, registrar, ISP, Cloudflare or card brands when a site ignores the notice, and search again regularly for re-uploads.](/images/blog/blog-remove-leaked-onlyfans-content-fast.webp)

**Google:**

1. For pages that are still live, file a copyright removal request through [Google's Legal Help Center](https://support.google.com/legal/answer/3110420). Google reviews the request and can remove the reported URLs from its results. Its [average processing time](https://support.google.com/transparencyreport/answer/7347743) for copyright requests through its web form is about 6 hours, though individual requests vary.
2. Once a site has removed a page, use Google's [Refresh Outdated Content tool](https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/7041154) so the dead result drops out.
3. If the material is intimate imagery published without your consent, Google has a [personal sexual content removal request](https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/16305143), and says it does its best to find and remove duplicates. Its policy excludes consensual content that is commercialized, so paid content that was sold and then copied usually needs the copyright route.

**Bing and others:** use [Bing's copyright notice form](https://www.bing.com/webmaster/contentremovalform/showcontentremovalform). DuckDuckGo [gets many of its results from Bing](https://duckduckgo.com/duckduckgo-help-pages/results/sources/), so a Bing request is the place to start. [Yandex](https://yandex.com/support/abuse/en/troubleshooting/search/copyright) does not de-list copyright infringements itself: it asks rights holders to contact the site owner or host. Once the copy is gone, you can ask Yandex to drop the outdated result.

Our [search engine de-indexing service](/services/search-engine-deindexing) files these requests for you; it is unlimited on every paid plan.

## Step 4: Escalate When a Site Ignores You

Copyright law is territorial. A site is not legally required to remove content, but it loses the DMCA safe harbor protection if it does not act on a valid notice ([US Copyright Office](https://www.copyright.gov/512/)). Some sites outside the US ignore notices anyway. When that happens:

- **Hosting provider or ISP:** send the notice to the company that hosts the site.
- **Domain registrar:** you can report the site to its registrar, which may or may not act.
- **Cloudflare:** Cloudflare [forwards abuse reports](https://www.cloudflare.com/trust-hub/reporting-abuse/) to the hosting provider and site owner, because it cannot remove content hosted elsewhere.
- **Card brands, in some cases:** where a site takes payments for infringing content, [Mastercard](https://www.mastercard.com/us/en/anti-piracy-policy.html) and [Visa](https://www.visa.com/en-us/legal/report-brand-abuse) accept reports; Mastercard asks for earlier notices to the site first.
- **De-indexing:** even when a page stays up, a search engine request makes it harder to find.

Platforms that want DMCA protection must have a policy to terminate repeat infringers ([US Copyright Office](https://www.copyright.gov/512/)); what they do in a given case is up to them.

If the person who posted a copy files a counter-notice, the platform may restore the content after 10 to 14 business days unless it is told within that period that the copyright owner has filed a court action ([US Copyright Office](https://www.copyright.gov/512/)). For a US work, registration (or a refused application) is generally required before a copyright lawsuit can be filed ([17 U.S.C. 411(a)](https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/17/411)).

Never negotiate with or pay the person who posted your content. Paying does not guarantee removal.

## Step 5: Watch for Re-uploads

Copies can come back after a removal, on the same site or a new one. Check again regularly: search for your stage name and usernames, set up search alerts for them, and run a reverse image search with one of your own published images. Each re-upload needs a new notice.

## The TAKE IT DOWN Act: A Route for Content Posted Without Consent

The [TAKE IT DOWN Act](https://www.congress.gov/119/plaws/publ12/PLAW-119publ12.htm) concerns intimate images of an identifiable individual (adult or minor) published without their consent. Covered platforms must offer a way to request removal; after a valid request they must remove the reported image within 48 hours and make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies. The Federal Trade Commission has enforced these duties since May 19, 2026. The DMCA, by contrast, asks for expeditious removal with no fixed deadline.

Whether this route fits a leak of your own paid content is less clear. A request must include a good-faith statement that the image is not consensual, and the Act's criminal provision excludes material that was voluntarily exposed in a public or commercial setting. The Act does not say how its removal process applies to paid content, and a platform may refuse. Where a copy was posted without your consent, the platform's TAKE IT DOWN form is an extra route next to the copyright notice; check the form's conditions, and ask a lawyer how it fits your case. X, for example, has a [TAKE IT DOWN Act report option](https://help.x.com/en/rules-and-policies/us-tida).

## When a Removal Service Helps

Doing this yourself costs no money but takes time every week. A service is worth considering when copies keep appearing on many sites, when the same uploaders keep re-posting, or when you cannot keep up.

You can always file platform forms and Google's form yourself, for free. What Adult Model Protection adds:

- **Finding copies:** on paid plans, regular scans by our team of Google, Bing, Yandex and more than 500 known leak and piracy sites, reverse image searches with the content assets you upload, and manual searches.
- **Filing under our name:** notices, within your plan's limits, are filed by Adult Model Protection as your authorized agent, and a person on our takedown team checks each notice before it is sent. The rights holder named on the notice is your model (stage) name, and some platforms show it to the uploader; Google shares notices with the Lumen database, which may publish it. Your legal name is shared only with your consent and never with platforms that publish notices.
- **After the notice:** we check whether each page is gone, follow up or escalate to hosts, registrars, ISPs, Cloudflare or payment processors when it is not, and file new notices for re-uploads found in later scans.
- **Counter-notices:** our takedown team tells you when one arrives and explains your options; the decision is yours.
- **Your dashboard:** every request and its status, a takedowns list you can export as CSV on paid plans, and a form to submit links you found yourself.

Takedown notices to leak sites and de-indexing start on the Essentials plan (up to 100 platform notices a month). Telegram, Discord, Reddit and X removals, and TAKE IT DOWN Act requests, are included on the Luxe and higher plans. Our estimate for a complete notice to a site that responds to notices is 24 to 72 hours; it is an estimate, not a guarantee.

Our [Telegram content removal service](/services/telegram-content-removal) covers Telegram channels and groups in more detail.

## Reducing Future Leaks

No one can promise that content will never be shared, but some steps help:

- Turn on OnlyFans' free watermark and its Digital Rights Management (DRM) protection, both in the "Privacy and Safety" settings ([OnlyFans](https://onlyfans.com/transparency-center/helping)). OnlyFans also has a team that files DMCA notices for creators when you report stolen content through its contact form.
- Consider visible watermarks on all content, or a subscriber's username on custom content. Our guide to [watermarking strategies](/blog/watermarking-strategies-for-adult-content-creators-in-2026) goes into options. Watermarking by AMP is in development, not a current feature.
- Keep free previews clearly different from your paid content.
- Turn on two-factor authentication on every platform to prevent account takeovers.

## Legal Options

Copyright gives you the right to control copies of your work. If you are thinking about legal action, US law allows statutory damages of [$750 to $30,000 per work infringed, and up to $150,000 if the infringement was willful](https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/17/504), but only if the work was registered with the US Copyright Office before the infringement or within three months of publication ([17 U.S.C. 412](https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/17/412)). Our [DMCA guide for creators](/blog/digital-millennium-copyright-act-creators-complete-guide) covers the law in more depth.

In the US, the [National IPR Coordination Center](https://www.iprcenter.gov/referral/report-ip-theft-form) is the government's clearinghouse for investigations into piracy and counterfeiting and takes reports from the public. For anything else, including what applies in your state or country, ask a lawyer. Adult Model Protection is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.

## FAQ

### Should I delete my OnlyFans account if my content keeps leaking?

Deleting your account stops new uploads at the source but does nothing about copies already online, and your account is a simple way to show the content is yours. If you are considering it, read our guide on how to delete your OnlyFans account first, and deal with existing leaks before you close the account.

### Do the same steps work for JustForFans, LoyalFans and Fansly leaks?

Yes. Copyright does not depend on the platform you sell on, so the steps for other sites, Telegram and Google are the same. What changes is how you report a copy posted on the platform itself, since each has its own DMCA contact and form.

## Conclusion

Act early, send complete notices, clear the search results, and keep a record of every notice you send. Whether you do this yourself or with a service, re-uploads mean the work is never fully done in one go.
