Over the past weeks we have shipped a long list of changes to Adult Model Protection. Some you will see the moment you open your dashboard, others work in the background on every notice we send. This post walks through what changed, grouped by what it means for you, and why we built it.

## Your Takedowns, One Website at a Time

**One takedown per website or search report.** Your takedown list and dashboard now show one takedown per website, and one per search engine report, with the individual links inside it. If a single site has dozens of copies of your content, you no longer scroll through dozens of separate rows: you open that site's takedown and see every link it covers.

**A status timeline for every takedown.** Each takedown now shows the steps we have taken and when, for example "Notice sent to the website", "Follow-up sent to the hosting provider" or "Escalated to the domain registrar". You can see where a case stands without having to ask.

**The same status names everywhere.** A takedown is now always one of: requested, in progress, removed, not removed, rejected or cancelled. Your dashboard, your emails and our team use the same words, so a status means the same thing wherever you read it.

**Notes you can read.** When our team adds a note for you, it appears on your takedown page as "Notes from AMP administrator". Each takedown also shows the thumbnail and name of the content asset it protects, so you can see at a glance which of your files it is about.

**Re-checks after the notice.** Once a notice goes out, we re-check the link at set intervals over the following 30 days, counted from the date the notice was sent. A link is only marked as removed after the removal has been confirmed more than once, and a person on our team confirms it.

**Fewer, clearer notifications.** When we update many links at once, you get one notification for the whole change instead of one per link, and notifications now tell you how many links were handled.

## Notices That Reach Someone, Even When a Site Hides Its Contact

Many leak sites publish no contact address at all. Until now, that left the first notice without a clear recipient. We have changed how we handle these sites:

- **The hosting provider first.** For a site without its own contact, the first notice and the follow-up go to the company that hosts the site. For sites behind Cloudflare, we use Cloudflare's abuse process and ask for the notice to be forwarded to the host.
- **Then the domain registrar.** If the host does not act, the escalation and the final notice go to the registrar of the domain. We never start at the registrar.
- **More contacts on file.** We researched DMCA contacts, including the DMCA agents that sites name on their own legal pages, for many more sites, so more notices go straight to an address that handles copyright complaints.
- **Sent under our name.** Every notice is sent under the name Adult Model Protection, acting as your agent.
- **EU rules where they apply.** Where a site falls under EU copyright law, our notice is sent as a notice under [Article 16 of the EU Digital Services Act](https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg/2022/2065/oj) instead of a US DMCA notice.

You see each of these steps in your takedown timeline. If you want to know what a hosting company does once a notice arrives, our article on [what happens when you send a DMCA notice to a hosting provider](/blog/what-happens-when-you-send-dmca-check-hosting-provider) explains it.

## Search Engine Removals, Handled Carefully

Taking a page down is one part of the job; getting the link out of search results is the other. Our [search engine deindexing service](/services/search-engine-deindexing) now works like this:

- **Google, Bing and Yandex.** Removal requests go through each search engine's own copyright process, including Yandex's copyright complaint form for web search and image search.
- **One report per search engine and product.** Each report names your primary model name as the rights holder and lists your other verified names as "also known as", so your names are kept together in one request (a name with a different rights holder gets its own report).
- **We do not report the same link twice.** We keep a record, per search engine, of every link we have reported for you. A link that has already been sent is not reported to the same search engine again unless our team has a specific reason to resend it. This keeps your requests clean and avoids repeat reports.

Not sure whether you need a search removal, a site takedown or both? Our guide on [Google delisting versus complete content removal](/blog/google-delisting-vs-complete-content-removal-key-differences) explains the difference.

## Clearer Plan Rules

We rewrote how plan limits work so they count what we actually do for you:

- **Monitoring by our team** is part of every paid plan: we scan search engines and known leak sites for your content.
- **Search engine removals are unlimited** on every paid plan.
- **Essentials includes 100 website takedown notices per month.** Each link counts once, when it first goes out in a notice to a website, whether we found it or you submitted it. Follow-ups for the same link do not count again, and submitting a link to us never counts.
- **Luxe and Glamour include unlimited website takedown notices.**
- **Model names:** the Free plan covers one model name; paid plans cover unlimited model names.
- **Your own sites:** adding personal websites to your monitoring list is part of Essentials and up.

If you reach your Essentials limit, the remaining links wait for the next month instead of being dropped. The full comparison is on our [pricing page](/pricing).

## Why We Now Ask for a Creator Profile

Before we scan for your content or file takedowns, your account needs at least one creator profile with a link to your official page. Our notices point to your official page as proof of the original work. Without it, a site or search engine can reject the notice, so we now ask for it up front. You will see a short notice and a step in your setup checklist until a creator profile is added.

Takedowns also require a verified identity. If yours is not verified yet, the dashboard shows a "Verify now" button that takes you straight to the verification step.

## A Safer Account You Control

- **Two-step sign-in.** You can protect your account with an authenticator app, with backup codes in case you lose your phone.
- **Safer password and email changes.** Changing your password now asks for your current password and, if you use two-step sign-in, your code, sends you a security email and signs out your other sessions. Changing your email address needs confirmation from both the old and the new address.
- **Export your data.** On paid plans you can export your scan results and takedowns as CSV files, or download a branded PDF protection report. Large exports are prepared in the background and arrive by email with a link to your Exports page.
- **Notification settings.** Choose per category whether you get an email, an in-app notification or both, and unsubscribe from emails with one click.
- **Account deletion with an undo period.** If you delete your account, you have 30 days to change your mind. After that your account is removed; invoices and anonymised takedown records are kept.

## Everyday Dashboard Improvements

- **My Whitelist.** Add your own profiles and the domains where your content is allowed to appear. They are filtered out of your scan results and can never be sent for takedown. Available on paid plans.
- **Know where a result came from.** Each scan result shows what triggered it, and the same result is no longer stored twice.
- **See which sites matter most.** The Sites page shows how many detections each site has, and your analytics show the number of sites with detections and the average time to removal. The stat tiles are clickable.
- **Tidy up in bulk.** Archive content assets and finished takedowns several at a time.
- **Better uploads.** Images up to 50 MB and videos up to 1 GB, including MKV, 3GP and AVI files. Video assets get a preview frame, and upload errors now tell you what went wrong.
- **Works on your phone.** Tables, the Sites page and settings fit small screens without sideways scrolling, and long lists load page by page.
- **Your profile.** Upload an avatar with a square crop and set your display name.

## A Bigger Takedown Team, the Same Human Check

A second person has joined our takedown team and now works on takedown cases, notice drafts and search engine removals. What has not changed is the rule behind every notice: a person on our takedown team checks it before it is sent.

## Where to Start

If you are already a customer, open your dashboard: your takedowns are now grouped per website, and the timeline shows what has happened on each one. If you have not added a creator profile yet, start there.

If you are comparing services, the [pricing page](/pricing) shows what each plan includes, and our [DMCA takedown service for adult content](/services/dmca-takedowns-adult-content) explains the process in detail. Every plan covers subscription creators and webcam performers alike; if you perform live, see how our [cam model protection](/services/cam-model-protection) handles recorded shows, clips and screenshots.
