When your paid content leaks, the copies rarely stay in one place. Creators commonly report copies on Telegram channels, tube sites and forums, and links to those copies in search results. Creators often find out about a leak only after it has spread. This guide is about shutting leaks down: which route fits each place a copy can appear, what a notice needs, and what to do when a site does not respond.
You do not need to go looking on leak sites yourself to do any of this. You need the link to each copy, the date you found it, and the right route for the site that hosts it.
How Leaks Spread
Creators commonly report that leaks start with screen recordings or shared subscriber accounts, and that copies spread from smaller groups to larger sites and then into search results. Copies can be posted at any hour, and each copy on each site needs its own notice. Removing one copy leaves the others in place.
Search engines matter because they lead people to copies. Image results can show thumbnails of copies, which is why removal requests to search engines are part of shutting a leak down. Google notes that a removed result can still exist on the site itself, so the site needs its own notice as well.
Keeping Track of Your Own Content
The safest way to keep track is to search for your own content, not for leak sites:
- Set a Google Alert for your stage name and the names you use on other platforms.
- Run a reverse image search on Google with one of your own promotional photos. Google's reverse image search shows similar images and websites with the image or a similar image.
- Keep a list of every link you find or that fans send you, with the date.
Save the link and the date. Do not take screenshots of pages with sexual content and do not download copies; the link is what every removal form asks for.
Which Route Fits Each Place
Mainstream adult platforms
Large platforms publish their own routes for copyright takedown requests. Pornhub lets you file a DMCA notice through its form, and XVideos says in its terms that it will expeditiously remove infringing content in response to a valid takedown request. Use the platform's own route.
Social platforms and Reddit
Copies can also be posted on Reddit, which takes copyright reports, and accounts on other social platforms sometimes repost leaked content. Each platform has its own copyright form; see our guides for Reddit and Twitter / X.
Telegram
Telegram takes copyright complaints by email at the address listed in its FAQ ([email protected]) for infringing channels, bots and other content. Telegram publishes no response time. See our Telegram content removal service.
Search engines
Google and Bing both have copyright removal forms: Google's copyright removal request and Bing's content removal form. Check both, because a result removed from one can still show in the other. Google says its average processing time for copyright removal requests submitted through its web form for Search is about 6 hours, and that many factors can change this for a single request. See search engine de-indexing.
Sites that ignore notices
Some sites ignore notices or are hosted outside the United States, which can slow removal. In that case the next step is the services behind the site: its hosting provider, domain registrar, internet service provider, Cloudflare, or a payment processor that takes intellectual property complaints.

Each place a copy appears has its own route.
What a Valid DMCA Notice Needs
The DMCA is the main US route for takedown requests. Under 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3), a notice must identify your work and the link to each copy, give your contact details, and include a good faith statement, a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner, and a signature. A notice that does not substantially meet these requirements can be rejected. See how a DMCA notice works for each element.
If the uploader files a counter-notice, the site may restore the content after 10 to 14 business days unless it is told within that period that the copyright owner has filed a court action (US Copyright Office). A lawsuit over a US work generally requires registration (or a refused application) first (17 U.S.C. 411(a)); ask a lawyer.

Watermarks
A visible watermark with your stage name can make a copy easier to recognize and trace back to you, but it can be cropped or edited out. Some creators also use invisible watermarks. Neither stops a leak on its own. Adult Model Protection does not provide watermarking; it is in development.
How Adult Model Protection Shuts Leaks Down
You can file every notice above yourself, for free. What Adult Model Protection adds is the work around the forms:
- Finding the copies. On paid plans, our team runs regular scans of Google, Bing and Yandex and more than 500 known leak and piracy sites, reverse image searches with the content assets you upload on the search engines we scan, and manual searches by your creator names and aliases. Our takedown team also searches Telegram and Discord by hand, including private groups where we can reach them; what can be found there is limited and never guaranteed, so send us any link you see. Your content assets are used only to search for copies and are never shared with third parties.
- Filing as your agent. AMP files each notice under its own name as your authorized agent. The rights holder named on the notice is your model (stage) name, and the site may show it to the uploader; for notices to Google or Bing, Lumen may publish it. Your legal name is shared only with your consent.
- A person checks every notice before it is sent.
- Removal checks and follow-up. We check whether each copy is gone, through page checks and manual checks, and follow up when it is not. Copies that reappear are found in later scans and get a new notice. Platform notices are limited to 100 a month on Essentials and unlimited on the Luxe and higher plans. You get a notification when a scan finds a new copy, and you can submit links yourself in your dashboard.
- Escalation. When a site ignores notices, we escalate to its hosting provider, domain registrar, internet service provider, Cloudflare or a payment processor, and to Telegram or Discord abuse teams.
Your dashboard shows each request and its status, and its analytics show protected assets, sites with detections and the share of requests removed, not removed or in progress per period, with a downloadable PDF report. Read more in the analytics overview.
AMP serves adults (18+) only and never identifies who leaked content.

FAQ
Where do leaks usually appear?
Creators commonly report copies on Telegram channels, tube sites and forums, with links to them in search results. Each place needs its own notice.
How quickly can stolen content be removed?
It depends on the site. Google says its average processing time for Search copyright removal requests through its web form is about 6 hours and that it varies by request. Most other sites publish no time, and sites that ignore notices take longer because escalation adds steps. Any time given is an estimate, not a guarantee.
Is it enough to remove a result from Google?
No. A result removed from search can still exist on the site that hosts it, so the site needs its own notice too.
Can watermarked content still be pirated?
Yes. A watermark can be cropped or edited out. It makes a copy easier to recognize, but it does not stop a leak.
How does AMP find copies on Telegram?
Our takedown team searches Telegram by hand, including private groups where we can reach them; what can be found in private groups is limited and never guaranteed. Takedowns on Telegram are part of the Luxe and higher plans.
What happens when a site ignores a DMCA notice?
We follow up with the site, then escalate to its hosting provider, domain registrar, internet service provider, Cloudflare or a payment processor. Results vary.
