Protection for Webcam Models
A cam show is live, but anyone watching it can record the screen. Recordings of cam shows can end up on tube sites, forums, file hosts and Telegram channels, sometimes with the performer's stage name or platform username attached. Each copy needs its own takedown notice.
Adult Model Protection (AMP) finds those copies and files the notices for you. Our team scans Google, Bing and Yandex plus more than 500 known leak and piracy sites, runs reverse image searches with the content assets you upload, and searches by hand for your stage names. A person on our takedown team checks every notice before it is sent, and AMP signs and files it as your authorized agent.
We file through the copyright routes that cam platforms and the sites hosting the copies publish themselves, such as Chaturbate's DMCA process and LiveJasmin's DMCA procedure.
Notices to tube sites, file hosts and leak sites are platform takedown notices: up to 100 a month on the Essentials plan and unlimited on the Luxe and higher plans. Takedowns on Telegram, Discord, X and Reddit, impersonation removal and private information removal are included on the Luxe and higher plans. Search engine de-indexing is unlimited on every paid plan.
How Cam Recordings Spread
Cam content can be recorded and shared soon after a broadcast. Creators commonly report the same routes: screen recordings of public and private shows uploaded to tube sites that collect cam recordings, forum threads that link to file hosts, Telegram channels organized by platform or model name, and clips posted to social media.
Recordings can show chat logs, usernames or timestamps, and can capture personal information shared by accident. Recordings can also spread across several sites quickly, and a removed recording is sometimes uploaded again under a different title.
Who Owns a Recorded Show
In the United States, copyright exists automatically in an original work once it is fixed, with no registration needed to send a takedown notice. On some platforms the terms of service decide who holds the rights to a show, and Chaturbate, for example, states that your shows are your property.
If you broadcast through a studio, your contract with the studio may say who holds the rights to your shows; check it before a notice is filed. Check the terms of the platform you broadcast on too, and ask an attorney if you are unsure who holds the rights. Adult Model Protection is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.
How Cam Platforms Handle Copyright
Chaturbate takes DMCA notices for content on its own platform and offers its broadcasters a free DMCA notice service for copies elsewhere; our Chaturbate DMCA takedown service page explains its process in detail.
LiveJasmin publishes DMCA notice and takedown procedures that apply when it receives a proper notification of claimed copyright infringement. Creators commonly report recordings on tube sites, file hosts and forums rather than on the cam platform, and each of those sites needs its own notice to its own DMCA contact.
A valid notice identifies your work and the exact URL of each copy, gives the sender's contact details, contains the good faith and accuracy statements and is signed (US Copyright Office). For every element and what happens after a notice, see how a DMCA notice works.
How We Find Recordings of Your Shows
Our team scans Google, Bing and Yandex and more than 500 known leak and piracy sites, and runs reverse image searches with the content assets you upload. Your content assets are used only to search for copies and are never shared with third parties. Our takedown team also searches by hand for your stage names; paid plans include unlimited stage names.
You get a notification when a scan finds a new copy, and on paid plans you can submit links yourself from your dashboard. Video fingerprinting, which would help detect edited or cropped recordings, is in development and not a current feature.

Filing as Your Agent, and What Happens to Your Name
AMP signs and files every notice as your authorized agent. The rights holder named on the notice is your model (stage) name, and the site may show it to the uploader; for notices to Google or Bing, Lumen may publish it. Your legal name is only shared with your consent, and only with a recipient that needs it and keeps it confidential; it is never shared with Google, Bing, X, Cloudflare or others that publish or forward notices.
If the uploader files a counter-notice, the site may restore the content after 10 to 14 business days unless it is told within that period that the copyright owner has filed a court action (US Copyright Office). Our takedown team tells you when one arrives and explains your options; the decision is yours, and we do not give legal advice (how a DMCA notice works).
Filing Yourself or With AMP
You can send takedown notices yourself, for free. Many sites have their own DMCA form, Chaturbate offers its broadcasters a free DMCA notice service, and Google has its own form for search results.
What AMP adds is the work around those forms: finding the recordings in the first place, collecting the exact URL of every copy across many sites, AMP signing as your agent so your legal name stays off the notice, a person checking each notice before it is sent, checking afterwards whether each copy is gone, and handling the search results, channels and accounts that point to the copies.
Search Results, Telegram and Social Media
Search results for your stage name can lead people to recordings before they find your own profile. Search engine de-indexing asks Google and Bing to drop infringing pages from their results; it is unlimited on every paid plan. Google says its average processing time for copyright removal requests submitted through its web form for Search is about 6 hours, and that many factors can change this for a single request. A page that is removed from search results can still exist on the site itself, which is why the site gets its own notice.
Telegram takes copyright complaints at the address listed in its FAQ. Our takedown team searches Telegram by hand, including private groups, and also covers private Discord servers. Takedowns on Telegram, Discord, X and Reddit are part of our social media and messenger removals on the Luxe and higher plans. See Telegram content removal for the details.
After the Notice: Removal Checks and Re-uploads
After a notice is sent, we check whether each copy is gone, through page checks and manual checks, and you follow every request and its status in your dashboard. When a site does not act, our takedown team sends a follow-up. Our estimate for responsive sites is 24 to 72 hours; it is an estimate, not a guarantee, and some sites take longer or do not respond.
Re-uploads are found in later scans and manual searches, and each one gets a new notice.
When a site ignores notices, we escalate to its hosting provider, domain registrar, internet service provider or Cloudflare, or to a payment processor. Some payment networks, for example Visa, accept intellectual property complaints about sites that accept their cards. For Telegram and Discord we escalate to their abuse teams. Escalation is included on every paid plan, and results vary.
Impersonation and Personal Details
Recordings are sometimes reposted by accounts that pretend to be you, and personal details can be exposed in recordings or in the comments under them. On the Luxe and higher plans, we file impersonation reports and requests to remove exposed personal details as your authorized representative, where the platform allows it.
See impersonation account removal and private information removal for what each service covers.
Limiting Recordings in the First Place
No service can stop screen recording, because it happens on the viewer's own device. Some broadcasters take steps that may reduce the chance or the impact of recordings:
- Avoiding personal details on stream and in chat, so a recording cannot expose them
- Adding a visible watermark with your stage name (AMP does not provide watermarking yet; it is in development)
- Keeping your original recordings and show dates, which helps if ownership is questioned
If the content shows you under 18, or you are in danger
- Explicit images or videos of you taken before you were 18: use NCMEC's free Take It Down service and report to the CyberTipline. Adult Model Protection serves adults only.
- Explicit images of you as an adult shared without your consent: StopNCII.org is a free tool. If someone is threatening you, see sextortion and blackmail help.
- If you are thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 in the US, or your local emergency number.
How It Works
Our team runs the scans, and every notice is checked by our takedown team before it is sent. Here is what happens from the moment you register to the moment we check that your content is gone.
Stage Names and Content Assets
You add your stage names and upload content assets. Your assets are used only to search for copies and are never shared.
Finding Recordings
Our team scans search engines and more than 500 known leak and piracy sites, runs reverse image searches and searches by hand.
Collecting the URLs
We list the exact URL of every copy and the site that hosts it. On paid plans you can submit links yourself from your dashboard.
Notices Checked and Filed
A person checks each takedown notice before it is signed and filed by AMP as your agent through the site's own route.
Search Engine De-indexing
De-indexing requests ask Google and Bing to remove infringing pages from their search results.
Removal Checks and Re-uploads
We check whether each copy is gone and follow up or escalate when it is not. Re-uploads found in later scans get a new notice.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is cam model protection?
It is a content protection service for webcam performers. Our team searches tube sites, known leak sites, Telegram and search engines for recordings of your shows, and files takedown notices and de-indexing requests as your authorized agent. A person checks every notice before it is sent.
Which plan do I need for cam model protection?
Takedown notices to tube sites, file hosts and leak sites start on the Essentials plan, with up to 100 platform notices a month; the Luxe and higher plans include unlimited notices. Takedowns on Telegram, Discord, X and Reddit, impersonation removal and private information removal need the Luxe or a higher plan. Search engine de-indexing is unlimited on every paid plan. The Free plan includes a quarterly web scan but no takedowns.
Can you find recordings of private shows?
We can find recordings, of public or private shows, that appear on the sites we scan and search, and on paid plans you can submit links you find yourself. Video fingerprinting, which would help detect edited or cropped copies, is in development and not yet available.
Which cam platforms do you cover?
We file through the copyright routes that platforms such as Chaturbate and LiveJasmin publish, and through the DMCA routes of the sites where recordings end up. Our scans look for your content regardless of which platform it was first broadcast on.
How do you handle Telegram channels sharing cam recordings?
Our takedown team searches Telegram by hand, including private groups, and reports channels to Telegram's copyright address. When Telegram does not act, we escalate to its abuse team. Telegram removals are included on the Luxe and higher plans, and results vary.
Can you prevent screen recording during live shows?
No. Screen recording happens on the viewer's own device, and no one can prevent a first copy. Our scans and manual searches help find recordings sooner, so they can be taken down.
